We use the bare minimum tracking we can get away with. No third-party advertising, no cross-site behavioural tracking, no social media pixels. This page explains exactly what does run.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser to remember things between visits — like whether you're signed in. Local storage works similarly but isn't sent on every request.
2. Cookies we set
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function. You can't opt out without breaking the site.
| Name | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Keeps staff signed in to the admin panel. Only set after successful login to /admin. | ~1 hour, auto-refreshed |
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Fraud prevention for card payments. Set by Stripe when you open the checkout page. | 1 year / 30 minutes |
Analytics (anonymous, no personal data)
We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and understand which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not set a persistent ID, and does not track you across sites. Vercel aggregates the data in their dashboard; we never see individual visitor information.
3. What we don't do
- No Google Analytics or Google Ads tracking
- No Meta / Facebook pixel
- No TikTok pixel
- No fingerprinting libraries
- No third-party advertising networks
4. Controlling cookies
You can manage cookies from your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
- Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security
Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out of the admin panel and break Stripe checkout, but nothing else on the public site.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if we add or remove tools. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
